When your proposal is complete and reviewed, the final step is to export it for submission. Tendisha supports exporting to PDF and DOCX formats, ensuring compatibility with all tender submission systems and requirements.
Export options
- PDF — The preferred format for most tender submissions. PDF preserves formatting, fonts, and layout exactly as designed. It is universally accessible and cannot be easily edited, which ensures the integrity of your submission. Use PDF for final submissions.
- DOCX — Microsoft Word format. Use DOCX if you need to make further edits after exporting, or if the tender specifically requires Word format. DOCX files can be opened and edited in Microsoft Word, Google Docs, and other word processors.
Steps to export
- Click Export in the proposal header. This opens the export dialog where you can choose the format and configure export settings.
- Choose your preferred format: PDF or DOCX. Consider the tender requirements and whether you need to edit the file after exporting.
- Configure export settings. For PDF, you can choose page size, margins, and whether to include a cover page and table of contents. For DOCX, you can choose whether to include track changes and comments.
- Click Download. The file will be generated and downloaded to your computer. Depending on the size of the proposal, this may take a few seconds.
Export tips
- Run the Compliance Check before exporting to ensure all mandatory requirements are addressed.
- Proofread the exported document. While Tendishas export is high quality, a final review catches any last-minute errors or formatting issues.
- Name your exported files clearly, such as "Proposal_ClientName_ProjectName_Date.pdf".
- Keep a copy of the exported file in your records along with the proposal in Tendisha.
- If the tender requires specific formatting or branding, apply these in the proposal editor before exporting.
