Tendisha uses role-based access control to ensure that team members have appropriate access to your organizations data and features. Understanding roles and permissions helps you assign the right level of access to each team member.
Available roles
- Owner — Full control, billing, and team management. The Owner is the highest authority in the organization. There can be only one Owner. The Owner can manage billing, invite and remove team members, change plans, and delete the organization.
- Admin — Manage opportunities, proposals, and team members. Admins can create and edit opportunities and proposals, invite new team members, and manage existing ones. However, they cannot access billing information or delete the organization.
- Editor — Create and edit proposals and opportunities. Editors are the primary users who work on tenders. They can create opportunities, run analysis, create and edit proposals, and export documents. They cannot manage team members or billing.
- Viewer — View-only access. Viewers can see opportunities, proposals, and company profile but cannot make any changes. This role is useful for stakeholders who need to stay informed but do not need to contribute.
Choosing the right role
Assign roles based on the team members responsibilities. Use the principle of least privilege: give team members the minimum access they need to do their job. For example, a subcontractor who only needs to review a proposal should be a Viewer, not an Editor. A team member who manages proposals and opportunities but does not handle billing should be an Editor or Admin, depending on whether they need to invite others.
